01 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ResumeForge (the "Service"), creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use ResumeForge. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

02 Description of Service

ResumeForge provides an online platform that helps job seekers create, edit, and download professional resumes and cover letters. The Service includes:

• AI resume builder. Tools that generate, rewrite, and refine resume content — including work-experience bullet points and skill suggestions — based on information you provide.
• Template library. A collection of professionally designed resume and cover-letter templates available for on-screen editing and download (typically as PDF).
• Subscription tiers. Free and paid plans (Basic and Pro) that unlock additional templates, download limits, and AI capabilities as described in Section 4.

We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We are not a career-counseling, recruiting, or employment-guarantee service, and we do not promise any particular job outcome.

03 User Accounts & Registration

Some features require you to register for an account. When you do, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Maintain and promptly update your account information.
• Keep your password confidential and secure.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials.

04 Subscription Plans & Billing

ResumeForge offers the following paid subscription tiers, billed monthly:

• Basic — $4.99/month. Includes 3 resume downloads per month, access to standard templates, limited AI bullet suggestions, and email support.
• Pro — $12.00/month. Includes unlimited resume downloads, full template access, unlimited AI generation, priority support, and custom branding options.

Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not collect or store your full payment-card details. By subscribing, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled beforehand. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you retain access until then. Prices are stated in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable taxes.

05 Refund Policy

Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear. After the 7-day window, payments are non-refundable, though you may cancel at any time to prevent future charges. We reserve the right to decline refund requests that we reasonably determine to be abusive or fraudulent.

06 Intellectual Property

Your content

You retain all rights to the personal information and resume content you create, enter, or upload ("User Content"). You own your finished resumes and cover letters and may use them for any lawful purpose. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display your User Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you.

Our platform

All other elements of the Service — including the software, templates, designs, layouts, logos, branding, and underlying code — are the exclusive property of ResumeForge and its licensors, protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the resume output you generate, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written permission.

07 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to, and not to permit others to:

• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or use automated means to access or extract data from the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit access to the Service or its templates.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, or impersonate any person or entity.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service.
• Upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Use the Service to create content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or harmful.

Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

08 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific application or employer. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all content before use.

09 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ResumeForge and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or employment opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.

10 Termination of Accounts

You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, engage in prohibited conduct, or if we are required to do so by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will survive.

11 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Florida.

12 Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use of ResumeForge after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
